Fluoroplastic has a natural chemical property of being able to withstand almost all chemicals. Once a solid or liquid object is within the tube, it is protected and shielded from nearly all chemical liquids or gas.

It is also a great insulator, which can prevent electric shortages from being in contact with other electronic equipment.
Last but not least, fluoroplastic tubings have low static and kinetic friction coefficient, allowing it to be abrasion resistant. Hence, protecting not only the item being shielding within the tube, but also any objects coming into contact with the tubings.
